Ultrasound Unit

It is located on the second floor of Building (1). It is equipped with many advanced ultrasound machines incorporating all modern capabilities and are used for general testing purposes.

The unit performs ultrasound testing on soft tissues such as breasts, thyroid gland, testes, pelvis and abdomen in addition to Doppler ultrasound. It examines nearly 100 male and female patients a day during normal working hours from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. After that, the radiologist on call shall be on standby.
