A. Teaching at College of Medicine
Introduction:
The idea of delivering radiology courses to medical students dates back to 1410 – 1411H when RAD 361 has been delivered to third-year students in 1410H. Then, in 1413H, it has been decided that RAD 104 should be delivered to first-year students. RAD 104 aims to give an insight into the basics of radiological anatomy after being taught general anatomy, and show students live anatomy through the use of different radiographic films. As for RAD 361, it aims to show students how to perform medical diagnosis of different conditions using various medical imaging methods. At its 10th meeting in 08/05/1427, the department council has decided to merge the two courses into one course titled RAD 366, which includes the following:
* Introduction to Different Radiology Procedures and Techniques
* Introduction to Diagnostic Radiology Using Different Medical Imaging Modalities
* Diagnostic Radiology of Upper and Lower Extremities
