The Department of Cardiology has held several conferences to improve the educational and academic environment, to present the latest developments in scientific research, and to raise the level of health education in the community through a series of awareness programs for patients and healthy people alike. The department has diversified activities throughout the year. Intensive awareness for patients suffering from heart problems during Ramadan regarding changing the date of dosage and how to deal with fasting and the month of Hajj, and the consequent change in the lifestyle of the pilgrim.
