There are four executive units under the college administration chain according to the organizational structure of College of Medicine - Female Students Campus, which are as follows:

The College of Medicine at King Saud University, established in 1967 (1387 AH), was the first medical college in Saudi Arabia. In 1974 (1394 AH), the women's section was inaugurated to advance female medical education. In 1976 (1396 AH), King Abdulaziz University Hospital, formerly known as Prince Talal Hospital, became part of the college. On January 12, 1982 (17 Rabi' al-Awwal 1402 AH), King Khalid inaugurated the college's current facility and King Khalid University Hospital in the Riyadh campus. Since its inception, the college has graduated over 5,089 physicians and more than 1,477 specialists from fellowship programs. In 2009, the college achieved global recognition, ranking 79th among medical colleges worldwide according to the Times Higher Education rankings. During the 2021-2022 academic year (1443-1444 AH), The undergraduate program had a total enrollment of 1,868 students, including 1,093 males and 775 females. Additionally, 987 postgraduate students were enrolled across 117 fellowship programs, two doctoral programs, four master’s programs, and three diploma tracks. The same year, 286 students were admitted to the undergraduate program, while 273 graduates completed undergraduate studies, and 294 postgraduate students completed their advanced training in various specialties. The college takes pride in its alumni, many of whom have excelled in international fellowship programs and training, particularly in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Its graduates have played pivotal roles in leading the Kingdom’s healthcare system, shaping its direction over the past decades.
