As an academic unit, Statistics and Information Unit aims to provide and analyze accurate data and information on students, faculty members and administrative staff necessary to support planning in the College of Medicine through:

1. Collecting the required information, data, and statistics concerning:

a. Students.

b. Faculty members.

c. Staff of the college and university hospitals.

d. The required information from the University.

1. Providing clients with the electronic forms used in the college.
2. Preparing statistical reports on the educational, research, and administrative processes of the college and analyzing data using advanced statistical software as well as preparing charts for the college activities.
3. Generating statistical periodic reports on different activities of the college.
4. Analyzing and processing data and generating the required statistical reports.
5. Sending statistical reports to concerned departments.
6. Providing the Academic Quality Unit with the necessary data to produce key performance indicators.
7. Providing the college with the necessary data to prepare the annual report and the college manual.
8. Providing the university administration with the required information.
