Scientific Research:

Department's research covers a large part of the health problems in the Kingdom. The most important researches carried out by the department are as follow:

• Patterns of alternative medicine use in Riyadh. The study aims to describe the patterns and uses of alternative medicine in different places in Riyadh.
• Student concept of the educational and scientific environment in the medical colleges. The study aims to identify strength and weakness areas in scientific and educational courses to improve the educational environment.
• Conducted many researches in measuring the quality of primary health care provided to patients and health problems of workers in the cement industries in Riyadh as well as tetanus immunization for a group of workers with a high risk of infection. Study the nutritional form of residents in the Kingdom and epidemiological studies of the following clinical diseases (Hepatitis, Diabetes, Hypertension).
