Family Medicine (FMED 421)                  

FMED 421 in family medicine is a fourth-year course with 6 credit hours that will introduce the principles and concepts of family medicine to medical students. In addition, the students will be oriented to the health care system and primary health care services in Saudi Arabia.

We will adopt varieties of teaching and learning strategies, such as lectures, students led seminars, and case based discussion. Coupled with the newly adopted strategies; we will also use the team based learning to enhance a collaborative learning.
