Medical Research (CMED 305)
This is a 6-credit hour course that is a core requirement for 3rd year medical students. It provides basic principles for study design, methodological approaches and analytical skills for conducting health-related research.
During this course, students are required to complete a group project (primary-collected data) and present it in the form of a report, suitable for submission as a manuscript for publication. They are also encouraged to present their research during the annual college of medicine student research week event.
