Community Service

A number of the department's faculty members participated in multiple media channels and specialized government committees to raise awareness about eye diseases, and among these channels are:

The first Saudi channel

Promed Educational Satellite Channel

Holy Quran Radio

Committee to combat blindness

Visiting oncology patients

Resident doctors also participate in community awareness using social media such as (Know Your Eyes) on Twitter and Instagram

It is a volunteer program that aims to raise awareness of eye diseases, led and volunteered by ophthalmology doctors and students interested in the specialty of ophthalmology and surgery.
