1.Clinically:

The department has 28 consultants.

2.Academically:

Teach and train almost 280 medical students per year.

Provide 4-hour teaching sessions per week for fellows.

Train optometrists in the Optometry and Visual impairment Clinic.

Train 7-10 interns from inside and outside the Kingdom every month.

Accommodate more than 20 students in the Department of Ophthalmology during their elective courses annually.
