ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Physiology is one of the core departments in the College of Medicine at King Saud University, established in 1391 AH (1971 AD) as a distinguished academic foundation in the field of health sciences in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The department contributes to the university's and the nation's vision and mission by providing high-quality education and advanced research that supports the development of the healthcare sector.
The department is responsible for teaching physiology to medical students and students from other health-related colleges, such as Dentistry, Pharmacy, and Nursing.
