About Us
The Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Unit of Surgery Department, College of Medicine, and the University Medical City is one of the leading units in its field in the Kingdom and the region. The unit consists of 8 faculty members, all consultants specializing in vascular surgery and interventional vascular procedures, with extensive expertise in providing comprehensive medical care. The unit also boasts a specialized laboratory, the only one in the Middle East, for non-invasive vascular testing, which helps in the accurate and early diagnosis of vascular diseases.
Additionally, the unit offers a Vascular Surgery and Interventional Vascular Fellowship program, the first of its kind in the region, providing advanced training in the latest techniques and procedures. The unit provides advanced therapeutic services, along with exceptional educational and research programs, contributing to the development of this vital medical specialty.

SCOPE OF SERVICE:
The responsibilities of the Vascular Surgery Unit include performing specialized surgical procedures, seeing patients in weekly clinics, and teaching medical students while training interns and fellows. The unit also contributes to patient diagnosis through its specialized vascular laboratory, which utilizes advanced non-invasive techniques for assessing and treating vascular diseases.
