Chairman Message:

On my behalf and on behalf of my colleagues and faculty members, residents, specialists and technicians, the Department of Pathology welcome you all to this home page of Pathology Department, Faculty of Medicine, King Saud University. This department contains a large number of qualified faculty members in all disciplines and specialties of pathology including; Histopathology, Medical Microbiology, Hematology, Clinical Biochemistry, Immunology and molecular genetics.

The members of the department conducts three basic services:

1 - Teaching at all levels.
2 - Constructive  scientific research.
3 - Medical services and care for patients through laboratory diagnosis of disease and contribute to the management.

The department provides great opportunities for pathology research and training in all medical sciences;  experimental and applied, to faculty members in all disciplines, to improve the level of diagnosis of many diseases.
