About the Department

The Department of Surgery at the College of Medicine was established in the Academic Year 1393/1394 when the first class of medical students have reached the Clinical Phase, and is considered one of the major departments of the College of Medicine and King Khaled University Hospital. Like other clinical departments, the Department of Surgery has academic functions and responsibilities and it provides medical services in various surgical specialties.
