About the Department

The Department of Orthopedics at the College of Medicine, King Saud University is the largest in the Kingdom and has always been distinguished by the application of modern teaching and student assessment methods. In addition, it gives great attention to students, trainees and specialists in postgraduate programs and orthopedics fellowships, and is always committed to serving and educating the community and protecting it from diseases. Moreover, Orthopedics is one of the first departments that established specialized units and has established the first pediatric orthopedics unit in the Kingdom. Currently, the department has six specialized units that admit and treat patients with different musculoskeletal diseases using the latest methods of diagnosis, treatment and follow-up.
