About Us

Guiding students academically, psychologically and socially to serve their practical career and achieve their personal desires and ambitions in accordance with the regulations and procedures followed at the university and college.

Vision

Raising the level of students' educational achievement to its highest levels, and achieving local and regional leadership in academic guidance for students of the Faculty of Medicine.

Mission

Guiding students academically, psychologically and socially to serve their practical career and achieve their personal desires and ambitions in accordance with the regulations and procedures followed at the university and college.

Academic Guidance & Counseling Unit Tasks

1. Raising awareness of the importance of academic guidance and counseling for students.

2. Applying the regulations issued by the college and the university.

3. Helping new students adapt to the educational atmosphere of the college by introducing the unit's services for them and meeting their needs.

4. Follow up the academic performance of all students continuously, and touch cases of defaulting students.

5. Studying student cases in need of psychological, social, or financial support services and assistance in overcoming these problems.

6. Periodic review of policies, procedures and programs related to academic guidance and counseling.

7. Work to achieve continuous improvement in all aspects of the unit's work.

8. Prepare periodic reports of the work for the Academic Guidance and Counseling Unit and submit them to the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs.
