About Us

The audio visual and photography unit is affiliated with the College agency for Academic affairs in the Faculty of Medicine. The unit supervises, operates, and maintains 104 classrooms, lecture halls, small groups halls, and a main auditorium for seminars and conferences, using the latest technologies in e-learning.

Vision

To meet the changing needs of our clients. As technology continues to improve and expand, Audio Visual is working to stay at the forefront of these new technologies and find meaningful ways to incorporate them into our events and programs.

Mission

To serve the entire College of Medicine community and all students as the pre-eminent provider of high-quality visual and audio media production and delivery services for applications in instructional and informational technology.

Unit Tasks

1. Preparing educational tools in all classrooms.

2. Providing technical support services for faculty members and students.

3. Helping the presenter communicate with the audience with the help of audio-visual systems.

4. Providing faculty members with the necessary tools to enable them to adapt to rapid developments and benefit from modern information technology.

5. Diversifying educational methods that lead to an emphasis on healthy learning.

6. Providing technical assistance and supervision of major events and seminars in the hall and recording all programs for future reference.

7. Providing photography of all events upon request of the concerned party or the organizing party.

8. Booking for all classes including the main hall and lecture halls.

9. Transferring events from college halls to university units.
