About UsAssessment & Evaluation Center (AEC) was established in 1431 H. (2009 G.) and since then, it has successfully achieved excellence in producing high quality assessment. Thus significantly enhancing the learning standards and contributing towards Saudi Vision 2030. The main objectives of the effective educational process are to move from assessment of learning to assessment for learning, and this can only be achieved after developing curricula, which leads to the development of assessment and evaluation.
VisionTo become a distinguished, national and international recognized center for the assessment and evaluation of the health profession education in accordance with the King Saud University's Strategic Plan Formulation (KSU 2030). The main objectives of the effective educational process are to move from assessment of learning to assessment for learning, and this can only be achieved after developing curricula, which leads to the development of assessment and tests.
MissionTo assess and evaluate undergraduate medical students’ competency by utilizing the best and current international standard assessment tools. To develop faculty skills and competencies in assessment and evaluation. To provide advisory and consultancy to local and regional health education institutions. To conduct research in the field of assessment to improve the assessment system in order to meet the highest international standards. To play a pivotal role in building up the knowledge economy of Saudi Arabia and promote a vibrant society as per Saudi Vision 2030.
