Objectives

1. Encourage faculty and physicians of the College of Medicine and King Khalid University Hospital for scientific research.
2. Provide appropriate environment to encourage college students and graduate students to participate in scientific research.
3. Provide technical services and statistics for researchers and providing material support from the research center's budget.
4. Encourage scientific research that addresses the major health problems in the Kingdom.
5. Assist the cooperation and communication between researchers in the Kingdom and abroad.Promote research with new ideas, which can be consequences patents.
6. Establish a laboratory for scientific research that is under CMRC's administration.
7. Make a plan for the development of scientific research.
8. Issuing a medical journal bearing Faculty of Medicine and Research Center name.
