The Demonstrators and lecturers Support Unit was established in June 2012.
The Dean of the College of Medicine decided to expand the unit's scope to include all faculty members within the college, and changed the name of the unit to (Faculty Affairs and Demonstrators Support Unit) on 20 February, 2017.  This unit is concerned with providing support and assisting faculty members in all categories
One of the main objectives of establishing this unit is to attract promising outstanding medical students early, to help them with all our capabilities to achieve academic success, and facilitate their admission to medical universities abroad that can meet the needs of demonstrators and lecturers in terms of training and development. One of the most important objectives of the unit towards the faculty members of the college is to work on including distinguished and highly qualified faculty members to complete their educational journey throughout the College of Medicine and contribute to motivating them and providing them with opportunities to develop their academic skills to ensure the continuity of appropriate education that befits the College of Medicine in particular and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in general.
