Center tasks
1. Regulate
- Establish and uphold high educational standards for postgraduate medical training, ensuring compliance with the regulatory frameworks set by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and international accreditation bodies.
- Align educational programs with the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s Vision, emphasizing innovation, quality, and the development of a sustainable healthcare system.
2. Operate
- Manage and oversee postgraduate medical education programs, including residency, fellowship, and diploma programs, ensuring that they meet the needs of the Saudi healthcare system.
- Implement operational strategies that enhance training quality and integrate advanced medical practices and technology into educational curricula.
3. Collaborate
- Strengthen partnerships with national and international healthcare institutions to share knowledge, expertise, and best practices.
- Engage with governmental bodies, academic institutions, and healthcare providers to contribute to the development of a unified, high-quality health training systems across the Kingdom.
4. Support
- Provide comprehensive support for trainees, program directors, and faculty, ensuring access to the resources, guidance, and infrastructure needed for successful educational outcomes.
- Foster well-being and career development through continuous professional development programs and services for medical trainees and staff.
5. Innovate
- Lead digital transformation efforts by adopting innovative technologies in medical education, enhancing learning through simulation and other cutting-edge tools.
- Promote interdisciplinary education and collaboration to address the diverse healthcare needs of the Kingdom and contribute to the achievement of Vision 2030’s healthcare goals.
6. Ensure Sustainability
- Develop a sustainable financial model for the center, exploring revenue-generating opportunities that support the continued growth and expansion of postgraduate training programs.
- Strengthen the financial health of the center through initiatives such as consulting services, regional and global partnerships, and executive education programs
