Welcome to the first academic department of family and community medicine in the Arabian Gulf.
Over 48 years ago, Family and Community Medicine is still the scientific edifice for academics, doctors, researchers, trainees and students who wants to improve the health of the family and community in our beloved country and internationally. We provide the excellent training for resident physicians and medical students, encourage innovation, develop scientific research, and improve medical education methods as well as the provision of the best medical and community health participation locally and internationally.
Faculty members and researchers welcome research collaboration opportunities in the fields of family medicine and community. Our trainees, graduate students and bachelor's degree students are the heart of the department and we are most interested in educate and train them.
