The “Program of King Saud University Fellowship in Pediatrics” aims at graduating a specialist physician in pediatrics capable of taking care of the child till puberty and providing preventive and therapeutic regimens for him. Following the completion of the residency training programme, the physician is expected to:

• have acquired adequate knowledge that allows him to follow the normal and abnormal growth and development of the child in matters relating to his physical/psychological well being and learning ability;

• have acquired competence and proficiency in the diagnosis and management of childhood disorders

• be able to gather, analyze and present the data in a proper scientific style.
