  • Provide models, plans, studies and processes necessary for the success of the college in achieving its objectives and realizing its strategic vision.
  • Ensure that the college programs meet academic accreditation requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation and execution of the developmental and operational plans of the college.
  • Look into difficulties and problems facing the development and quality programs of the college and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Identify training needs of faculty members in the scientific departments of the college, and coordinate with relevant entities for implementation.
  • Propose the necessary plans to develop the skills of the college faculty members and staff.
  • Encourage faculty members to participate in programs provided by the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development.
  • Implement and oversee activities related to awards of creativity and academic, research and administrative excellence within college.
  • Liaise with the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development on matters related to quality and academic accreditation in coordination with the Dean of the College.  
  • Establish processes to identify expectations, requirements and level of satisfaction of internal and external customers with the services provided by the college and utilize them to enhance work efficiency within the college.
  • Oversee the preparation of the college annual report.
  • Propose the formation of committees related to the functions of the Vice-Deanship.
  • Continuously coordinate with vice deans of the college and heads of scientific departments to achieve the objectives of the college.
  • Liaise with counterpart academic and administrative units within the university in everything that helps in the completion of tasks and achievement of the objectives of the Vice-Deanship in coordination with the Dean of the College.
  • Prepare a comprehensive report on the quality and accreditation progress within the college and submit it to the Dean of the College.
  • Perform tasks delegated by College Council or Dean.
  • Establish an internal work system for the Vice-Deanship for Development and Quality in addition to developing general job descriptions and terms of reference and identifying ways of coordination between its units.
  • Oversee financial affairs, entrusted custodies and programs of the Vice-Deanship in accordance with policies and regulations.
  • Ensure that the college website is kept up to date.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean of the College.
