Mortality and Morbidity Committee

MORTALITY AND MORBIDITY COMMITTEE

The goal of this committee is to report any morbidity or mortality incidents for psychiatric patients in order to decrease their frequencies on long term basis.  The committee is responsible in reviewing and reporting any deaths that are within the committee’s scope, with a view to reduce these numbers and manner of deaths, and to support the continuous quality improvement through the promotion of ongoing quality assurance programs. In addition, it is also the responsibility of the committee to develop strategic plans and methodologies that are designed to reduce morbidity and mortality, and are relevant to the Committee’s functions.

The current members of the committee are:

Dr. Mohammad Al Yousef (Head of the committee, Asst. Clinical Professor / Consultant)

Dr. Abdullah Al Sinaidi (Asst. Clinical Professor / Consultant)
