King Abdulaziz University Hospital-Quality Management Unit

Quality Management Unit at KAUH was established in 2009 June. The Unit reports to the KAUH, Medical Director and is supervised by the QM Director for KSU Hospitals. The QM Unit took responsibility to build quality culture in the organization and to embed the International Standards of health care in our processes to raise the bar of quality.

The QM Unit along with accreditation teams got the organization accredited by Accreditation Canada for the first cycle in February 2011. The organization is again proceeding towards the second Cycle of accreditation with Qmentum, which is due for survey in May 2014, and the Quality Management Unit plays a lead role in guiding all the teams to establish the Qmentum standards within KAUH.
